Acompanhamento e execução paisagística em área residencial no Município de Garanhuns

Within the various fields of work of an Agronomist, there is the landscaping and the project development. The Landscaping fits the visual composition, but also practical of the environment we live in, turning into of such importance its use in the world. The Mandatory Internship was held at BoaSafra Company, in the city of Garanhuns, from October 1st, 2019 through November 19th 2019, with a total of 210 hours workload. Among the activities through the period of the internship, it was able to monitor the landscaping design progress, especially the ones of family residences. There were developed monitoring activities for construction works of designed watering installation systems and garden implementation. For the planning and performing of that design some computer softwares such as AutoCAD and SketchUP were applied. The mandatory internship had the purpose of providing experience background in the landscaping field throughout the monitoring held over the design planning, becoming a great opportunity to assimilate the theoretical knowledge obtained in the university course and the practical experience, undergo monitoring and execution of daily basis activities, gathering knowledge to vocational training.
Diagnóstico quali-quantitativo da arborização do Parque do Atalaia no município de Escada-PE

The accelerated and disorderly growth of cities, followed by irregular land occupations, caused the replacement of urban vegetation by buildings and road structures, making it difficult for cities to plan properly and causing a series of problems, such as soil sealing, temperature increase loss of biodiversity and increased noise pollution. Urban afforestation comprises the afforestation of streets and public and private green areas. The parks are inseted in public green areas and are considered public spaces for leisure and recreation for the city's population, providing many benefits, such as psychological well-being, physical contact with nature and the practice of physical activity. Thus, the research aims to evaluate the afforestation of Parque do Atalaia in Escada-PE, with the aim of creating a database that will serve as a subsidy for the management of the urban forest. The study was carried out at Parque do Atalaia, which is located in the center of the city of Escada-PE. A census inventory of all species with CBH (circumference at breast height) ≥ 15 cm was carried out. The dendrometric data were measured: total height, crown diameter, CBH, DBH (diameter at breast height), crown area and basal area. From these data, the morphometric indices were calculated: Degree of Slenderness, Salience Index, and Coverage Index. Spatial indices of shading, tree cover and tree density index were determined. The Shannon-Wiener diversity indices, the Pielou evenness index and the Simpson diversity index were analyzed. As for the phytosociological parameters, absolute density, relative density, absolute dominance, relative dominance, absolute coverage value, relative coverage value, absolute importance value and relative importance value were determined. Regarding the qualitative aspects, the plant health of individual trees, the general condition, vandalism, stem morphology (tortuosity/inclination), evaluation of the first bifurcation, root system condition, pruning condition and conflicts were evaluated. The species Inga edulis, Handroanthus sp. and Senna siamea together make up 56.78% of the Park's tree cover, where only 36.84% of the species found were classified as native to the Brazilian flora. A worrying value was observed in the spatial indices, on the other hand, most arboreal individuals are in good physical and phytosanitary conditions. Conflicts between afforestation and the electricity network were not relevant and the greatest damages observed resulted from pruning and vandalism. Essentially, the adoption of measures to introduce other species was suggested, prioritizing native species, to promote diversity and balance the frequency of species that already exist in the Park, increasing thermal comfort and contributing to aesthetic and ecological improvement, thus avoiding the loss of municipal arboreal heritage.
O efeito das condições do ambiente urbano no conteúdo de pigmentos foliares de Acer negundo L. e Tabebuia chrysotricha (MART. ex DC.) Standl na cidade de Curitiba – PR

O objetivo deste trabalho foi investigar a influência do meio urbano sob o conteúdo de pigmentos foliares de Acer (Acer negundo L.) e ipê (Tabebuia chrysotricha (Mart. ex DC.) Standl, largamente plantadas na arborização de Curitiba-PR. Foram analisadas árvores em ruas com diferentes, condições de plantio e de tráfego de veículos. Alem destas, foram tomadas amostras de árvores de parque, consideradas as menos sujeitas á poluição e livres de obstáculos físicos. Conclui-se que o conteúdo de pigmentos foliares do acer foi elevado em locais menos sujeitos á poluição e não foi alterado pelas condições de plantio enquanto para o ipê ocorreu o inverso.
Estudos preliminares visando a elaboração de um plano de desbaste em Pinus spp pertencentes à floresta Rio Doce S/A em Itabira Minas Gerais

Sabedores de que o gênero Pinus possui madeira mole, surge o problema em se determinar uma densidade ideal no povoamento para que esta madeira seja utilizada na serraria com sucesso pois já existe exemplo de que isto é possível.O objetivo do presente trabalho é o de fornecer indicações preliminares à respieto de desbastes em 3 espécies de Pinus pertencentes à FRD S/A.
Influência do tamanho da semente no vigor, em mudas de Guapuruvu (Schizolobium parahyba)

Este trabalho foi efetuado visando verificar o efeito do tamanho das sementes sobre o vigor e desenvolvimento inicial de mudas de Guapuruvu, pois se sementes de maior tamanho produzirem mudas mais vigorosas, a simples operação de separação das sementes por classe de tamanho, eliminando-se as menores, conseqüentemente refletirá na obtenção de mudas sadias e vigorosas, traduzindo- se em crescimento mais rápido e maior produtividade. Para este estudo foi escolhida a essência Guapuruvu (Sohisolobium parahyba), por ser considerada uma das espécies nativas mais promissoras, devido a seu rápido crescimento e retilinidade do fuste, tendo aplicações em caixas, forros .pranchetas, palitos, canoas, aeromodelismo, brinquedos e utensílios que requerem madeira leve, porém resistente ao ataque de insetos. Além disso fonte promissora para fabricação de papel e laminados, de acordo com RIZZINI.
