A non-formal education comes as a complement to a process greater than the formal education, where the individual must be oriented about life in society. The present work refers to analysis of the potentialities related to the use of the Conservation Units in Recife-PE, as possible environments for lessons on the public and private areas that can be spent in non-formal pedagogical activities with students of Elementary School. The spaces can be considered as alternative for teaching resources, allowing the student to experience the theoretical content together with practical practices. The characterization of these areas is an interaction of formal and non-formal education. The methodology was organized with qualitative data, based on documentary analysis, observation in loco, interviews and conversations. With the raised information, it was possible to structure a ranking based on data such as the possibility of access, security, infrastructure and the existence of didactic support in the place. After the information has been analyzed and updated, we have come to the result of choosing the Conservation Units, which are alternatives of pedagogical activities to be written in the visits to the loco areas, with the aim of integrating Conservation Units and teaching science in basic education.

The research presented here aimed to analyze how the actions of a non-formal education practice can influence the school performance of students living in socially vulnerable situations. To this end, a case study was carried out with the Child Citizen Charitable Association (ABCC), a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), with operations in the Cordeiro neighborhood, in Recife / PE. Since 2000, ABCC has been constituted as a space for social interaction that serves young people and children, offering access to education, sport and culture with the objective of promoting citizenship. To study the theme, a review was initially made of the concept of school performance and the factors that influence it, as well as a deeper discussion on formal and non-formal educational contexts. The procedures for data collection consisted of bibliographic survey, semi-structured interviews with teachers and focus group with students. For data treatment the content analysis method was used. Students and teachers were interviewed and their answers collated and analyzed in the light of the theoretical framework previously presented. As a main result, it can be seen that the actions of a non-formal education practice establish complementary relationships with formal education, positively influencing the school performance of students living in socially vulnerable situations, especially by the affective base built daily through motivation, respect and acceptance.

Teacher training must be continuous and can help education professionals in their preparation for changes in the educational context. In this process, we seek to stimulate the development of skills and abilities aimed at the new teaching methodologies, with emphasis on the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC) and the Common National Base for the Continuing Training of Basic Education Teachers (BNC-Continued Training). The objective of the work was based on the possibility of using the planetarium aligned with the training of teachers within the proposal of the new BNCC. The use of a planetarium in this work intends to stimulate a reflective and critical formation within a theme that is rarely addressed in the general education of teachers. The methodology applied allowed the construction of a proposal for training and investigation, through a form, for the understanding of a group or an organization in relation to astrochemistry and its universe of meanings. The development involved the use of the Stellarium software that combines the exposure of various astronomical phenomena and the presentation of images of planets, stars, and the production of a questionnaire to be applied before and after the activity. The educational product generated is a booklet containing the proposal for the assembly of the planetarium and questionnaires to reflect on the perspectives and potential of this instrument for the promotion of non-formal education and the teaching of astrochemistry.

This research aimed to analyze the magazine of the 4th trimester of the Sunday School of the Juniors class in an Assembly of God church, in relation to the Reading Axis of the teaching of the Portuguese Language. The work is theoretically based on reading and literacy comprehension according to Boff (1997) and Soares (2002), Gadotti (2005), Gohn (2006 and 2014) and Libiliar (2001) conceptions about non-formal education, and in the guidelines for teaching reading in the BNCC (2017). This is a documentary research from a qualitative perspective according to Chizzotti (1998). We used a set of methodological tools pertinent to the content analysis methodology according to Moraes (1999) and Bardin (2010). We sought to: describe the journal's structure and its use; identify, categorize and analyze the content of the parables contained in the lesson “The Stories of Jesus”, and their relationship with the Portuguese Language Reading Axis present in the BNCC; and indicate how language used in texts can assist in understanding and / or using metaphors. So that at the end of the investigation it was possible to understand the aspects of the magazine that help to develop skills for the formation of good readers.
