Therefore, this paper aims to highlight the current female landscape in Information Technology (IT) higher education courses in Brazil. To achieve this purpose, a literature review and analysis of microdata from the Higher Education Census from 2013 to 2022, provided by the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research An´ısio Teixeira (INEP), were conducted. The analysis shows significantly low female representation in higher education technology courses over the analyzed period - female enrollments do not exceed 17%, the completion rate averages 15%, and the Southeast region has the highest number of female representatives in IT courses, with São Paulo standing out. Este estudo investiga como a Gestão Pública Municipal de Camaragibe integrou a tecnologia da informação na prefeitura entre 2022 a 2023 e avalia o impacto dessa integração na administração municipal, analisando desafios e oportunidades. Os métodos utilizados incluem revisão bibliográfica, pesquisa documental e um questionário online aplicado aos servidores da prefeitura do município em estudo, que revelam percepções mistas sobre a eficácia e os desafios na implementação da tecnologia da informação no município em estudo. Os servidores são responsáveis pelas informações contidas no Portal do Contribuinte e Portal de Transparência, ferramentas desenvolvidas para permitir à sociedade o acompanhamento dos recursos públicos e fomentar uma participação ativa na discussão das políticas públicas em Camaragibe. No entanto, os dados demonstram que para alcançar o seu pleno potencial, é necessário investir em capacitação adequada para os servidores, melhorar a integração e a acessibilidade das ferramentas de transparência e ampliar as iniciativas que incentivam a participação cidadã.Item Análise de ferramentas de simulação em aulas experimentais de Bioquímica: um olhar para a relação entre os paradigmas da ciência e o uso de tecnologias digitais(2025-03-10) Oliveira, João Henrique Carvalho de; Couto, Janaina de Albuquerque; André, Woldney Damião Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6662157998132537; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7709040837130788; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6387415544397352A Bioquímica se faz presente tanto no Ensino Básico quanto no Ensino Superior. Porém, apesar de inserida no meio educacional dos estudantes, a literatura descreve alguns obstáculos para o ensino de Bioquímica decorrente da natureza dos conceitos bioquímicos, com destaque para abstração e a verticalização, e também da postura docente, a exemplo da fragmentação e da descontextualização. Tendo em vista a grande densidade de conteúdos abstratos, a disciplina possui a necessidade de aulas práticas experimentais para auxiliar na superação desses obstáculos. Entretanto, muitas instituições educacionais não dispõem de condições adequadas para a realização dessas práticas. Neste sentido, a utilização de Tecnologias Digitais da Informação e Comunicação (TDIC’s) pode ser uma excelente solução para o problema, visto que torna mais acessível a realização de práticas educacionais por meio de simuladores. Todavia, a utilização de um recurso como a TDIC não faz com que a aula seja efetiva por si só, uma vez que a postura assumida pelo docente durante o processo de ensino-aprendizagem é essencial para minimizar a fragmentação e a descontextualização dos conteúdos. Dito isto, a presente pesquisa tem como objetivo buscar, por meio de uma revisão sistemática, ferramentas tecnológicas para simulação de práticas experimentais de bioquímica para posterior análise qualitativa e paradigmática. Destarte, foram catalogados artigos, e os softwares por eles mencionados, disponíveis na plataforma Google Acadêmico entre os anos de 2018 e 2024. A proposta metodológica foi uma revisão sistemática, que consistiu nas seguintes etapas: Busca eletrônica nas bases de dados (etapa 1), seleção e identificação dos artigos elegíveis (etapa 2) e extração dos dados dos estudos incluídos na revisão (etapa 3); E a análise descritiva e paradigmática (etapa 4), sendo esta análise constituída a partir dos paradigmas da ciência: Cartesiano, Sistêmico e Complexo. Ao fim da pesquisa, foi observado que existem poucos trabalhos envolvendo simuladores na área da bioquímica. Observou-se que os softwares encontrados poderiam ser categorizados como gratuitos e de uso pago, o que impossibilitou a análise de alguns Laboratórios Virtuais (LV’s), caso este do Labster, que foi o mais citado dentre os trabalhos. Entre os simuladores encontrados, a maior parte desenvolve-se somente no paradigma cartesiano de forma aprofundada, com um foco por vezes exclusivo em saberes fragmentados fazendo pouca ou nenhuma sistematização, sendo o PhET o único simulador observado que foi capaz de atender satisfatoriamente os três paradigmas. Concluiu-se que as ferramentas, embora tenham potencial inovador, muitas vezes não fogem do tradicionalismo inerente ao paradigma cartesiano.Item Uma análise do gerenciamento de serviços de TI baseada no ITIL em uma organização educacional privada(2018-08-15) Felix, Eduardo Ferreira; Ximenes, Assuero Fonseca; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0060135791012696; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8763698582076780This research had the objective to analyze the practices adopted by the management of IT services in a private educational organization in Garanhuns. In this direction, it was proposed to investigate how the organization manages IT services and, from this, to identify the managements used by the ITIL good practices library and to verify what the benefits would be due to the adoption of the ITIL methodology for the organization and, in addition, it was tried to investigate what are the main difficulties in the organization for not using the good practices proposed by ITIL. In order to reach the objectives of this work, we used field exploratory research and systematic observations and semi-structured interviews were used as collection instruments. On this, the analysis of the data revealed that the IT manager seeks to manage IT services without following any model of IT governance, which generates enough problems day after day of the organization. During the observation, it was verified that the IT manager deployed two of the managements following the ITIL model that were the configuration management and the service center. Finally, data analysis allowed the understanding of the transformation of tacit knowledge into explicit knowledge of daily work practice. The presentation of the results of the experiences of the professionals, from the identification of the following phenomenon in relation to the services allowed the identification of the phenomenon that was synthesized as the management of the technological services without following well-defined standards proposed by the IT governance. Through the discovery of the phenomenon were listed the categories that helped to understand the current reality of the company in relation to IT services and demonstrated the advantages of following an IT governance model based on ITIL.Item Análise dos vídeos produzidos para o ensino de Química na plataforma digital YouTube em 2021: o que os canais mais acessados abordam?(2022-05-27) Alves Neto, Francisco de Assis; Leite, Bruno Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4932752031807872; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7066108122235142The accelerated evolution of technology has exceeded the use of digital resources resulting in the increase of the need for appropriation of these resources in the classroom, seeing that they are part of the social context and environment of students. In this way, teachers need to adapt to this new educational panorama that is forming. In the context of education in the virtual environment, we have studied follow-up practices of students in remote learning and done analyses of instructional progress to discover the best pedagogic effects in this medium. Academics in education argue in favour of the use of Digital Technologies of Information and Communication (DTIC) as one of the alternative resources to support the process of education and learning, because they are presenting sufficient positive results to justify their use. In the instruction of chemistry, as in other areas of knowledge pertinent to the natural sciences, alterations and improvements are increasingly requested in an attempt to find procedures and mechanisms which promote the improvement in the processes of teaching and learning of students. In this perspective, the objective of this work is to investigate the principal foci of content production to use in social media platforms, such as an instructional resource to assist students learning chemistry. Therefore we have identified the social media platforms which are the most popular for production with the focus on videos and chose to use YouTube®. In this way, the research was carried out in five steps, with the objective to improve and organize the understanding of the analyses: 1. a weighing was made with selection of 16 channels to be studied; 2. classification of the channels; 3. analysis of the content addressed in the channels; 4. analysis of types related to presentation of the content and intrinsic characteristics of the videos, using principally the Moran type of video and Mayer's principles of multimedia learning; 5. analyzing the level of engagement of the students through the commentary on the videos. The results showed that teachers who spent more time on media production in the aspects of vídeo editing and planning were well rewarded in return from their audience. Finally, this reseach concludes with the premise that the dialogue between teaching practive a–nd multimedia instructions can result in a more eficiente teaching and learning process.Item Avaliação experimental de replicação em banco de dados para recuperação de desastres(2020-12-18) Santos Neto, Wilson Medeiros dos; Andrade, Ermeson Carneiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2466077615273972; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1208163441814364IT systems are essential for the operations of any modern business. Such systems must support operations of their corresponding company under any conditions. Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies have been implemented to help organizations mitigate unexpected failures and reduce unnecessary expenses. However, to the best of our knowledge, no other work experimentally analyzes data replication at the database layer with a focus on DR strategies. Therefore, this work evaluates a relational database replication as a mean of implementing a DR solution. We use a real testbed in a public cloud environment to perform extensive experiments aimed at implementing the replication provided by MySQL, considering various scenarios in the context of DR. Our results show how response time, Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective (RTO) vary according to the size of the replicated data, the synchronization type (ex.: asynchronous or semisynchronous) and the configuration of the slave servers. But to what extent could the entry of new financial institutions based on information technology influence such a consolidated sector as the banking segment? This paper aims to observe the advances of information technology on competition in this sector. Data for the elaboration of the research were taken from the Brazilian Federation of Banks Research (FEBRABAN), Central Bank of Brazil and the World Bank. It is a qualitative and quantitative research, whose data included information from the main traditional and digital banks in the country. Among the main results of the survey were the relatively lower rates found in digital banking services when compared to those of traditional banks and a possible change in dynamics in physical bank branches that may be changing with the absorption of new technologies by the sector.Item Comparação de VPN e ZTNA: uma análise de segurança e desempenho em ambientes corporativo(2024-09-30) Chagas, Marcelino Francisco Gomes das; Medeiros, Robson Wagner Albuquerque de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3169193612606500Constant technological advances and the rapid expansion of infrastructures in public cloud providers have created significant challenges for companies, especially with regard to information security. Traditional security measures, such as Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), which create a secure tunnel for data transmission between the user and the corporate network, are not always adequate to protect data in cloud environments, resulting in a growing need to re-evaluate protection strategies. The COVID-19 pandemic has further intensified this demand, as organizations have been forced to adopt remote working practices on a large scale. In this scenario, trust in the final data has become a critical concern, especially given the limitations of traditional VPN solutions. In response to these challenges, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) have emerged as promising approaches. ZTNA is a technology based on the principles of ZTA that redefines network access control by eliminating implicit trust in any user or device, regardless of their location, and requiring continuous verification for every access attempt. This approach offers more granular security at the network and access control level, and is adaptable in on-premise and cloud environments, protecting data in distributed and constantly evolving corporate environments. The aim of this work is to carry out a comparative analysis of VPN and ZTNA network technologies, with an emphasis on evaluating security and performance. The security features offered by each technology will be examined, including authentication, access control and encryption, as well as the impact of these technologies on network performance in terms of latency, bandwidth and response time. Through this analysis, we aim to identify the advantages and disadvantages of each technological approach, offering valuable insights for IT professionals and organizations in selecting and implementing the solution best suited to their security and performance needs in modern corporate environments.Item O consumo de internet no processo de construção social da identidade de adolescentes integrantes de uma ONG em Jaboatão dos Guararapes(2018) Reis, Juliane de Santana; Albuquerque, Hortência Cruz de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4316127961561473The digital era, through the internet, had its fruit in the expansion and development of the capitalist system, which provided the possibility of new forms of communication in the globalized technological context. Thus, virtual entertainment gains more and more space for use in the daily lives of families. In this way, with the advancement of information and communication technology, we have the facility to make purchases through the internet, make payments to accounts, talk to friends who are distant, know news from Brazil and the world, all this in real time, which seems to be a facilitator for the interaction of adolescents, since much dominates these tools. Adolescence consists of a phase of changes, both physiological, psychic and social, and considering that in the midst of these transformations, there is the search for identity, which comes to be present in the questions of adolescents and that will lead to countless experiences that will be intensely experienced throughout adolescence. However, how have teens dealt with the internet? Thus, this work is the result of the experience of compulsory supervised internship at an NGO in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, and aimed to analyze the influence of Internet consumption on the process of social construction of adolescents' identity. The methodological procedures used were bibliographic review, participant observation and semi-structured questionnaire application. The research is exploratory, descriptive and qualitative. And the results point out that the internet is configured as a more comprehensive medium for interaction and socialization of adolescents, being essential the consumption of technology / internet since they associate it with the synonym of pleasure and leisure, and hence it is necessary to discuss more on the relation of consumption of technologies and the behavior of the adolescents before the society of consumption.Item Contribuições do uso de ferramentas de bioinformática no ensino e aprendizagem de evolução envolvendo a temática pandemias causadas pela bactéria Yersinia pestis(2025-08-06) Sousa, Matheus Geovane Gomes de; Freitas, Nara Suzy Aguiar de; Silva, Alexsandro Alberto da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2011377431714562; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6891650997818766; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7743011824083084Este trabalho investigou as contribuições do uso de ferramentas de bioinformática de modo lúdico no ensino-aprendizagem da evolução, sob a perspectiva das histórias das pandemias provocadas pela bactéria Yersinia pestis, como modelo evolutivo. Adotou-se uma abordagem quali-quantitativa com metodologia descritiva, aplicando uma sequência de aulas dividida em quatro momentos, que envolveu questionários iniciais e finais. As sequências genéticas e a árvore filogenética gerada nas aulas permitiram aos discentes a visualização de processos históricos das três pandemias de Y. pestis. Inicialmente com visão tipológica, os discentes avançaram para um entendimento atual reconhecendo alterações genéticas ao longo do tempo e correlacionando com as variações do vírus da pandemia de COVID-19. As ferramentas de bioinformática têm papel relevante no ensino de conceitos evolutivos no ensino médio e são facilitadoras da compreensão da diversidade da vida e da história evolutiva das espécies, tornando as aulas mais significativas e facilitadoras do ensino-aprendizagem contribuindo para a alfabetização científica e a capacidade de interpretação crítica baseada em evidências. Essas tecnologias tornam teorias abstratas em representações visuais, facilitando a superação de equívocos sobre mecanismos evolutivos. A integração da bioinformática nas aulas potencializa o ensino de evolução, tornando o ensino mais atual e significativo. No entanto, sua implementação efetiva depende de investimento nas infraestruturas escolares e na formação continuada dos professores. The objective of this work is to present and intensify how digital evolution contributes and has been contributing to a greater number of possibilities in the educational field. It is in this sense that an analysis of the contributions of TDICs in History classes is necessary. In other words, in view of what was presented, there is a legal provision in Brazil about the importance of implementing and using technologies in Education. Using the Design Thinking methodology, customizable fields were developed, allowing for better adaptation of the system to the specific needs of each company. Interviews with stakeholders confirmed the usefulness of the feature, suggesting improvements for its expansion. Thus, the objective of this study was to analyze the use of technology to improve the effectiveness of the management of the municipality of Vitória do Santo Antão - Pernambuco. The methodological procedures adopted were of a quantitative explanatory character, the intervention instrument developed was used in the form of a questionnaire for people who attend the city hall of Vitória de Santão Antão through Google Forms. The data obtained indicated that the technology that the information technologies have a great potential to develop any area of the city in which they are inserted, being they in the areas of health, education and attendance in the city hall, the information technology shows means that aim to facilitate this happens in many ways, whether with websites, applications to assist in customer service, personalization of this service, interconnection of information in different sectors, even a process of digitizing old documents. To achieve this, it is necessary to reflect, within a general objective, on ways to enhance pedagogical practices in the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICTs) in the context of History classes in the final years of Elementary Education, through a bibliographic review published in theses and dissertations. The selected texts throughout the research come from academic sources recognized by the scientific community, as mentioned earlier. Therefore, the research was conducted directly in digital repositories of universities or in digital libraries that organize research in these repositories. For example, when using the UFPE Repository and conducting a search, the repository presents theses and dissertations from other areas of education involving different curriculum components in descending order of relevance. The results from this demand were satisfactory, as there is a concern within academia, especially in graduate and professional master's programs. However, the authors do not place all hope for change and innovation in technological tools but rather in the approaches and methodologies that teachers will use with students, in the role of mediators of historical knowledge. Another challenge seen to be overcome is the infrastructure of schools, as per the TIC Education 2022 research, and the ongoing training of teachers, whether offered by the education system or sought by the teacher, must align with the perspective that the role of the History teacher is even more urgent. Thus, there is a need for the continuity of interdisciplinary studies between Pedagogy and History Teaching, elements that should be combined from the beginning of the teacher's training in this curriculum component.Item Explorando o potencial da Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação na empregabilidade do Programa Socioaprendizagem(2024-11-27) Araújo, Victória Paula Avelino Pereira; Ceolin, Alessandra Carla; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7810633996702948; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1264971944537774No contexto atual, a Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação (TIC) desempenha um papel crucial no desenvolvimento econômico e social. Com a crescente digitalização e as mudanças no mercado de trabalho, novas habilidades são exigidas dos profissionais, tornando a formação dos jovens aprendizes essencial para promover a empregabilidade e a inclusão social, qque há 45 anos oferece qualificação profissional para jovens de 14 a 24 anos e para pessoas com deficiência de qualquer idade, garantindo seus direitos conforme a Lei de Aprendizagem (Lei Federal Nº 10.097/2000). O objetivo desta pesquisa foi o de explorar como a TICs podem melhorar a empregabilidade dos jovens aprendizes do Programa de Ensino Aprendizagem(ESPRO), desenvolvendo competências técnicas e comportamentais e facilitando a inserção no mercado de trabalho. Os principais resultados mostram que a aquisição de competências digitais amplia as oportunidades de inserção no mercado de trabalho e fortalece as habilidades necessárias para a adaptação aos avanços tecnológicos. Foi evidenciada, também, a importância da mediação dos instrutores no processo de aprendizagem, especialmente ao orientar o uso responsável e consciente a TIC.Item Governo eletrônico e acessibilidade digital : reflexões iniciais sob a ótica de pessoas com deficiências auditiva e visual(2024-12-02) Silva, Cleiton Luiz Cabral da; Correia Neto, Jorge da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6369240444943934O direito de acesso aos serviços públicos ofertados de forma digital deve contemplar a todos, inclusive aqueles com algum tipo de deficiência. Este estudo analisou a acessibilidade digital nos serviços governamentais online do município de Nazaré da Mata – PE, com foco nas barreiras enfrentadas por pessoas com deficiências auditivas e visuais. A pesquisa teve abordagem exploratória e descritiva, com coleta de dados documental e entrevistas semiestruturadas. Foram entrevistadas duas pessoas, uma com deficiência auditiva e outra com deficiência visual, e os dados foram analisados com base no e-MAG, na Lei Brasileira de Inclusão e nas diretrizes do W3C. Os resultados revelaram que o portal eletrônico do município não está em conformidade com as diretrizes de acessibilidade, limitando o acesso autônomo dessas pessoas a informações e serviços online. Concluiu-se que é necessário implementar melhorias, como a janela com intérprete de Língua Brasileira de Sinais (LIBRAS), a legenda em vídeos e a compatibilidade com leitores de tela, para garantir inclusão digital e plena cidadania das pessoas com deficiência. From events focused on solving system bugs, they came to be perceived as a strategy for open innovation in small to large organizations, such as Uber and Facebook. When promoted by private companies, they are known as corporate hackathons, with key business activities as the object of analysis by the participants. Organizing a corporate hackathon is not a trivial process, considering issues such as the type of audience to be involved, the duration of the event or the technologies and challenges to be presented. Motivated by this scenario, we carry out a systematic mapping to identify the process of corporate hackathons (pre-hackathon, hackathon and post-hackathon) as well as its main characteristics (objectives, participants, duration, location and application domain) based on a set of 29 primary articles. At the end, we conducted a review by experts, with participants and hackathon organizers to interpret our findings and raise adjustment needs. These changes have awakened the need for rapid, accurate and available information at any time and place, providing a significant growth in the use of mobile applications in smartphones. In contrast, public health in Brazil still faces a number of problems can be cited: overcrowding of hospitals, bureaucracy in marking consultation, lack of medicines and doctors, and lack of accurate information on the location of establishments, and the specialties of physicians who work in the same. Information that is fundamental in the speed and precision of the patient’s decision. From this context, this project aimed to develop an app that contributes making available data about establishments and doctors working for services of the Brasilian Unified Health System. The software uses the data from the state of Pernambuco, which was obtained through the DATASUS website, which is an agency of the Department of Strategic and Participatory Management of the Ministry of Health, which has the responsibility of collecting, process and disseminate health information. The application still uses the Google database, Google firebase, which has several features, which used Authentication and Realtime Database among them, the first one that guarantees better control over the users and the second allowing a visualization and change in real time of the registered data, finally the establishments are geo represented in the application through api Google Maps.
