Acompanhamento das atividades no campo de produção e do packing house de manga e uva na empresa AGROBRAS Agrícola

O presente relatório registra as atividades realizadas durante o Estágio Supervisionado Obrigatório (ESO) na Fazenda AGROBRAS Agrícola, Comércio e Exportação LTDA, localizada no Vale do São Francisco, em Petrolina-PE, no período de 01 de abril de 2024 a 20 de maio de 2024. Durante o estágio, foi possível acompanhar o desenvolvimento das atividades relacionadas à produção de mangas e uvas de mesa na segunda maior região produtora do Brasil. As variedades cultivadas incluem mangas Kent, Palmer, Tommy Atkins, Keitt e Ataulfo, e uvas Vitória, Crimson, Sugraone, Sweet Jubilee, Sugar Crisp, Thompson, Summer Royal, além da implantação da Uva Red Globe. A produção da AGROBRAS é destinada principalmente ao mercado externo, atendendo também ao mercado nacional. Durante o estágio, participei de todas as fases do ciclo produtivo das mangas, incluindo plantação, poda, aplicação de defensivos agrícolas, manejo de pragas, polinização, irrigação, colheita e pós-colheita, bem como operações no "packing house". Na produção de uvas, atuei nas atividades de poda seca, amarrio seco, aplicação de Dormex, desbrota, amarração verde, desfolha, raleio de cachos e colheita, além das operações no "packing house". Também acompanhei atividades de escritório relacionadas a mercado e exportação. Esta experiência prática proporcionou um entendimento aprofundado do funcionamento diário de uma fazenda produtora e do processo logístico do campo ao consumidor final, enriquecendo os conhecimentos teóricos adquiridos na academia com uma valiosa experiência prática de campo. O estágio destacou a importância do trabalho em equipe para o sucesso da produção e da empresa, além de oferecer uma visão clara do mercado de trabalho e da estrutura produtiva de uma fazenda de uvas de mesa na região do Vale do São Francisco.
Análise parasitológica de cultivares de uvas (Vitis spp.), comercializadas em diferentes locais na cidade de Serra Talhada, Pernambuco

Currently, there is an increase in the consumption of fresh foods due to the population's growing search for a healthier diet. However, the quality of these foods in terms of microbiological health is a concern, as they may represent a significant means of transmission of enteroparasites. The present study aimed to investigate the occurrence of parasites in grape samples, sold in different locations in the city of Serra Talhada. The collection period took place between July and December 2023, with the analysis of grape samples (Vitis spp.) carried out at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco. In total, 28 samples of grapes were analyzed from 14 commercial establishments, including greengrocers, street markets and supermarkets. Of the samples analyzed, parasitic structures such as insects, mite eggs and mites were found. Given the results obtained, it was concluded that parasitic structures are present in grapes sold in the city of Serra Talhada, however additional studies are necessary, expanding the sample size and using more than one diagnostic method.

About twenty (20) years ago, since graduating in agronomy, the owner of the company Mr. Newton Matsumoto had a purpose when completing the agronomy course at ESALQ, SP, intended to settle in a region to work in the field of fruit growing., becoming a promising agricultural frontier, with a view to improving the region, while also meeting internal and external demands with quality fruits. With this purpose in mind, and the potential for irrigated fruit growing in the sub-region of the São Francisco Valley, mainly due to favorable climatic conditions for the cultivation of various fruit trees. In view of the above, he moved from Paraná State his hometown to Vale São Francisco, Petrolina, PE, with the purpose of operating in this area and growing along with the region. Initially he acquired a seven-hectare property in Senador Nilo Coelho Project, Nucleus 09, in Petrolina-PE, after two years, his father moved to the region to assist him with the vineyards. In early 2001, with the help of his parent, Mr. Newton set up Fazenda Área Nova, with an area of 10 hectares in the Senador Nilo Coelho Nucleo10 Project, in Petrolina-PE. This farm employs about 150 permanent employees in the first semester and in the second semester a larger number of employees, considering that this property has 31 hectares of Palmer mango cultivar and 44.58 hectares of vine, being six grape varieties: Arra 12, Arra 15, Cotton Candy, Midnight, Sugar Crisp and Vitória, with production of approximately 25 tons of grapes per hectare. 80% of grape production is exported to countries such as England, the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Chile, and serves the domestic market such as the states of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Goiás, among others. The Northeast and North regions stand out for having tropical fruit poles that have shown significant results in recent years, such as those located in the northeastern semiarid, especially in Juazeiro, Bahia and Petrolina, Pernambuco, located in the São Francisco Valley, besides the Mossoró, Rio Grande do Norte, whose main fruits are mango, grape, banana and pineapple and also melon. Irrigated fruit farming is an economic activity of great expression in this city, making it stand out in the whole Northeast region, where grapes and mango are their main productions, besides the fruit growing pole, this region also stands out for its production. of wine and juices.
