| dc.description.abstract | O presente artigo busca analisar como o mangá Fullmetal Alchemist, da artista Hiromu Arakawa, mobiliza uma representação social do totalitarismo. Para tanto, nos valemos dos conceitos: i) de totalitarismo, definido por Hannah Arendt (1998), para sublinhar os mecanismos da excepcionalidade no Estado de Direito, ii) de representação social, desenvolvido por Roger Chartier (1982), com o propósito de compreender as nuances com que a narrativa gráfica de mangás e animes abordam esse tema. Metodologicamente, elegemos alguns núcleos temáticos estruturantes da obra que é dividida em 108 capítulos publicados num contexto de disseminação da cultura pop japonesa para o resto do mundo (2001-2010). | |
| dc.description.abstractx | This article seeks to analyze how the Fullmetal Alchemist manga, by the artist Hiromu Arakawa, mobilizes a social representation of totalitarianism. For that, we make use of the concepts: i) of totalitarianism, defined by Hannah Arendit (1998), to underline the mechanisms of exceptionality in the State of Law, ii) of social representation, developed by Roger Chartier (1982), with the purpose of undestand the nuances with which the graphic narrative of manga and anime approaches this theme. Methodologically, we chose some structuring thematic nuclei of the narrative, wich is divided into 108 chapters originally published in a contexto of dissemination of Japanese Pop Culture to the rest of the world (2001-2010). | |
