| dc.description.abstract | O presente trabalho analisa as perspectivas utópicas e distópicas dentro da obra Admirável Mundo Novo de Aldous Huxley, publicada em 1932, a partir da análise dos personagens Mustafá Mond e Bernard Marx. Diante a metodologia de cunho bibliográfico qualitativo discutiremos o termo utopia segundo Morus (2014), Murta (2020) e Figueiredo (2009) e apresenta-se o termo distopia e sua carga crítica dentro da literatura seguindo os pressupostos de Almeida (2018), Pavloski (2017), Garcia (2015) e Hilário (2013). A análise dos personagens será pautada sob as perspectivas de Reuter (2004), Brait (1985) e Cândido (1974). Por fim, conclui-se que na narrativa de Admirável Mundo Novo, a elaboração da utopia e da distopia depende da perspectiva narrativa de cada uma das personagens. | |
| dc.description.abstractx | The present work analyzes Utopian and dystopian perspectives within the work Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, published in 1932, through the analysis of the characters Mustafa Mond and Bernard Marx. The term utopia will be discussed according to Morus (2014), Murta (2020) and Figueiredo (2009). Therefore, the term dystopia and its critical load within the literature will be presented following the assumptions of Almeida (2018), Pavloski (2017), Garcia (2015) and Hilário (2013). The analysis of the characters will be based on the perspectives of Reuter (2004), Brait (1985) and Cândido (1974). Finally, in the narrative, the elaboration of utopia and dystopia depends on the narrative perspective of each of the characters. | |
